The Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at Al-Khwarizmi University prepares students to use mathematical thinking to solve real-world problems in science, engineering, technology, and the data-driven economy.
Built on rigorous mathematical foundations and strengthened through computation and modeling, the program trains students to translate complex systems into solvable models, analyze uncertainty, and make evidence-based decisions. Aligned with global academic standards and Uzbekistan’s growing demand for quantitative talent, the degree bridges theory, computation, and application—turning mathematics into impact.
Students will gain a strong grounding in:
Strong mathematical core with clear pathways to industry, research, and graduate study.
Modern computational focus, connecting mathematics with programming and real datasets.
Project-based learning, where students model real problems and communicate results clearly.
Interdisciplinary outlook, supporting careers across tech, engineering, finance, analytics, and research.
English-medium instruction with academic and communication support.
This program is ideal for students who enjoy deep thinking, problem-solving, and building models that power modern technology and decision-making.
Strategic Location: Based in Khorezm, the historic birthplace of Al-Khwarizmi — now a growing hub for technology and industry.
Global Perspective, Local Impact: Curriculum inspired by top programs like Khalifa University, tailored to Uzbekistan’s needs.
Multilingual Instruction: English-medium program with Uzbek and Russian support.
Modern Facilities: Labs, workshops, and testing fields designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
Learning takes place through a combination of face-to-face teaching and independent study, including lectures, practical tutorials, laboratory sessions, personal development sessions, real-life project briefs and case studies.
Students study 60 ECTS credits per year. The structure of the course is a subject to change by feedback received from a variety of sources.
